1. "Both from Europe and from Spain, I think we have to be clear that the vision for the future must include this roadmap for Europe, it must be a vision with regard to the great challenges that lie ahead of us, as a continent or as a country. We have some recommendations. We have this Draghi report or the Letta report, which mark this way forward, regardless of the outcome of the elections in the United States."

2. "The Government of Spain and, of course, the rest of the governments of the European Union, whoever wins the elections in two weeks' time, will continue to work closely with the United States, which is our main partner, and that is why we want to maintain a fluid transatlantic relationship between strategic partners and between two economies that are today highly integrated."

3. "Let's wait and see, of course, not only the result, but also the measures that the new administration that comes out of the American elections will put on the table. But I believe that from Europe we must maintain an open attitude, a constructive attitude, to continue to develop and deepen trade relations, but also investment relations. We are strategic partners and even more so in this economic security agenda that we have in front of us, where there are many areas where we can work and cooperate."
