Seoul robot park combines K-pop, humanoid technology

SEOUL, May 15 (EFE/EPA).— A new robot-themed entertainment park in Seoul aims to combine the popularity of K-pop with humanoid robotics through dance performances starring androids trained with motion-capture technology.

The project, presented to the media on Friday and scheduled to open in August, was developed by Galaxy Corporation, the agency representing K-pop star G-Dragon.

The 16,500-square-meter venue will feature robot concerts, drawing shows and interactive activities for children as part of efforts to expand entertainment technology from South Korea to international markets. (Camera: JEON HEON-KYUN).
