Salman Rushdie: "Literature cannot change the world"

Madrid, May 20 (EFE).- The writer Salman Rushdie stated this Monday that literature "cannot change the world" and that "literature, poetry and the novel cannot be given a strength and a power that they do not have" in this world "of lies" where "false narratives" predominate.
