Seven rugby league players in Australia refuse to wear rainbow shirts

Sydney, Jul 26 (EFE).- Seven rugby league players in Australia said they would boycott their team’s decision to wear a rainbow-colored shirt for a match commemorating LGTBI pride, the coach reported Tuesday.

The Manly Sea Eagles team jersey, presented Monday, dons the LGBTI rainbow flag on the sleeve and around the advertising on the torso; and will be used Thursday during a local derby match against the Sydney Roosters. (Camera: HANDOUT).
