Residents of Spain's Logroño honor city's patron saint with floral tribute
Logroño, Spain, Dec 14 (EFE).- Around fifty local groups and citizens honored on Sunday the Virgen de la Esperanza, the mayor and patron saint of the Spanish city of Logroño, during a floral offering organized by the city hall just days before her feast day on Dec. 18.Despite the cold and mist, many residents of Logroño gathered at the beginning of Portales Street, next to the Palacio de Chapiteles, the site of the former city hall.
