Public hospital in DC serves low income African-American local population

Washington, Mar 3 (EFE/EPA).- The United Medical Center in District of Columbia has been serving a prominently low income African-American local population especially in time of pandemic.

The hospital is the only public hospital in D.C. and is situated in the southeast of the city.

The District of Columbia has removed vaccine and mask mandates as hospitalizations have dropped dramatically after a surge of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 within the District. (Camera: WILL OLIVER).
