Protesters in Tokyo stage rally against Thailand's monkey-used coconut-picking industry

Tokyo, Mar 27 (EFE/EPA).- Protesters held a rally on Wednesday in front of the Thai Embassy in Tokyo, Japan against Thailand's monkeys-used coconut-picking industry.

PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, has said that the Thai coconut milk industry used illegal monkey labor, which are chained and forced to pick coconuts. Demonstrators said the coconuts used for the protest are humanely picked in Vietnam. (Camera: KIMIMASA MAYAMA).
