Protesters in Bolivia demand release of political prisoners during IACHR visit

La Paz, Mar 29 (EFE).- Citizen platforms, university students, and opposition groups protested in Bolivia on Wednesday, demanding that the government of Luis Arce release political prisoners during the third day of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) visit to the country.

In La Paz, a group of about thirty people held a sit-in protest in front of the San Pedro prison, organized by the National Committee for the Defense of Democracy (CONADE). (Camera: GINA BALDIVIESO).
