Protest against Malaysian prime minister in Putrajaya

Putrajaya (Malaysia), Jun 29 (EFE/EPA) - Dozens of people demonstrated Saturday in front of the residence of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Putrajaya to communicate a list of eight demands.

The protest organizers demand that Anwar, who is also finance minister lower the price of gasoline; restore local rice supply without increasing the price and defend the plight of rice farmers; address the Covid-19 abandonments; and address issues such as cost of living, public health, equal allowance for all lawmakers, and freedom of speech and economic sovereignty.
