Protest erupts following Saied's statement against sub-saharan migrants

Tunis, Feb 25 (EFE/EPA).- People staged a protest Saturday against Tunisian President Kais Saied after his statement against African migrants, saying their presence was a source of "violence and crimes".

Tunisian President Kais Saied hinted on Feb. 21 that the arrival of sub-Saharan migrants was part of a plot to weaken Arab identity and Islam in Tunisia. (Camera: MOHAMED MESSARA).
