Presidential candidate Delgado seeks voters' support in run-off round

Montevideo, Nov 20 (EFE).- Álvaro Delgado, presidential candidate for the ruling National Party, closed his campaign on Thursday in Montevideo, Uruguay, emphasising unity and a focus on projects over political factions.

Accompanied by his coalition partners, Delgado stressed his commitment to governance and responded to voters' calls for cooperation after the October elections.

Delgado called for ‘national unity’ to foster the agreements necessary for Uruguay's development while assuring voters of his readiness to lead on crises. (Camera: ELENA LOZANO).
