Portuguese commemorate April 25th in streets with no restrictions

Lisbon (Portugal), Apr 25 (EFE) - (Camera: Paula Fernandez) Thousands of Portuguese took to the streets today to commemorate April 25 for the first time without any restrictions since the pandemic began, with a clear idea: we must celebrate the day that brought democracy and freedom to the country "every year".

This is the message that ran among those present at the traditional parade along Avenida da Liberdade on the 48th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, in which the center of Lisbon recovered the splendor of this important date before the pandemic.
