Washington, Oct 21 (EFE) - With the aim of vindicating art as a driver of development, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has been collecting works for more than three decades, which normally decorate the walls of the offices and corridors of its headquarters in Washington and that this week can be seen in the first exhibition curated specifically for a museum. “The collection leaves the building from time to time in the form of loans for museums (...) but this is the first time it leaves as an exclusive exhibition,” Julieta Maroni, curator of the exhibition ‘Treasures from the IDB Art Collection’, explained to EFE.CAMERA: OCTAVIO GUZMÁN.FOOTAGE OF THE EXHIBITION IN WASHINGTON, US.
