Puebla, May 27 (EFE).- Residents of municipality of Cuetzalan del Progreso in the central Mexican state of Puebla continue to preserve the production of honey from the melipona bee considered an endemic pre-Hispanic economic activity of the area.This activity boomed with the Totonaca people who found the importance of caring for this bee that produces honey, wax and pollen, despite not having a sting and being small.
