Palma, Spain, Jul 21 (EFE).- Some 10,000 people, according to the Government Delegation, and 50,000 according to the organisers, took to the streets of Palma on Sunday to protest against over-tourism on the island, falling wages, declining quality of life, traffic congestion on roads and beaches, noise, land consumption and high housing and rental prices.This is the the second major protest of this kind, following a similar demonstration on 25 May, which also saw 10,000 10,000 people also took part.The protesters expressed their concern about the negative effects of mass tourism and called for measures to improve living conditions on the island.
