Ishikawa, Japan, May 15 (EFE).- Japan’s first Pokémon-themed airport will open in July on the Noto Peninsula, aiming to revive tourism in a region still recovering from a 2024 earthquake that killed more than 200 people and caused widespread damage.Renamed Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport, the terminal has been redesigned to help restore visitor numbers to pre-quake levels, though officials said they have not set a specific target.
