International Museum Day in Beirut

Beirut (Lebanon), May 18 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Wael Hamzeh) The Beirut National Museum, Lebanon's leading archaeological museum, is opening its doors free of charge to the Lebanese for four days on the occasion of International Museum Day.

The Beirut National Museum was officially opened in 1942 and its collection began to be built up after the First World War.
