Indonesian Muslims demonstrate in solidarity with Palestine

Banda Aceh, Nov 8 (EFE/EPA).- On Wednesday, a large crowd gathered in Banda Aceh to rally in support of Palestinians, amidst the recent escalation of violence in the Middle East.

The protestors, holding signs and flags, chanted slogans calling for peace and an end to the conflict.

This comes in the wake of a series of confrontations initiated by Hamas against Israel on October 7, which precipitated retaliatory strikes by Israel into Gaza.

The ensuing violence has resulted in a tragic toll of lives on both sides, igniting international concern and demonstrations around the world. (Camera: HOTLI SIMANJUNTAK).
