Madrid, Jun 18 (EFE), (Camera: Ramón Ayala / Santiago Castro) - Hundreds of people have gathered in the Plaza de Oriente this Sunday to join the celebration of the 9th edition of the International Yoga Day, organised by the Indian Embassy in Spain with the aim of "making yoga more popular as a way of life" and promoting "one of the best ways to reduce depression and anxiety, whose incidence has increased after the pandemic", as the Indian ambassador, Dinesh Patnajk, explained to EFE.The UN declared 21 June as International Yoga Day, and to mark the occasion the Indian embassy has been organising free sessions of this ancient discipline throughout Spain for the last two weeks.
