Harris offers 'new leadership' in Washington 'closing arguments'

Washington, Oct 29 (EFE).- Washington, Oct 29 (EFE).- In a large, symbolic rally in front of the White House on Tuesday, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris said the United States needs "new leadership" and asked Americans to "turn the page" on what her Republican rival, former president Donald Trump, represents.

For her 'closing argument,' Harris chose a symbolic venue: the Washington Ellipse park, located behind the White House and next to the National Mall, in the same spot where Trump in 2021 addressed the mob of followers who later stormed the Capitol to stop the transition of power to Joe Biden.
