Gisèle Pelicot leaves the thirty-fifth session of the trial

Avignon (France), Oct 23 (EFE).- Gisèle Pelicot, the victim of dozens of rapes orchestrated by her husband while she was under the influence of sleeping pills, reminded the women who today supported her accused relatives that she too had "an exceptional man."

"These mothers, sisters, women, have said that their brothers and husbands were exceptional. I also had an exceptional man, but the profile of the rapist can be found in the family, in friends," she said on Wednesday when she returned to the court in Avignon (southeast).
