Fire consumes 19 shanty houses in an irregular settlement in Asunción

Asunción, Sep 14 (EFE) - A fire destroyed this Saturday 19 precarious houses in an irregular settlement, located near the center of Asunción and on the banks of the Paraguay River, which left no injuries but did cause considerable material damage to dozens of low-income families, reported municipal authorities and residents.
