Elena Poniatowska assures that communication is "the first step of love"

Mexico City, Apr 22 (EFE), (Camera: Miguel Andrade).- The Mexican writer and Cervantes Prize winner Elena Poniatowska assured this Friday that communication is the first step of love and defended the need for humans to listen and be heard. .

"Communication is the first step of love, hearing each other and being heard is an enormous need that we human beings have," said the novelist in a tribute to her career at the start of the Book and Rose Festival organized by the University National Autonomous of Mexico (UNAM).
