Ecuador is quiet after 18 days of high tension due to protests

Quito, Jul 1 (EFE), (Camera: Juan Francisco Chavez).- Ecuador woke up this Friday with a general feeling of peace and began to recover normality after 18 days of tension and intense protests against the government over the high cost of living, which resulted in six deaths, one of them military, and around 500 injured.
