DGT launches speed control campaign to reduce accidents

Valencia, 15 Apr (EFE) - 23% of fatal accidents on the roads of the Valencian Community are caused by excessive speed, according to data from the Directorate General of Traffic, made public on Monday by the sub-delegate of the Government in Valencia, José Rodríguez Jurado.

The General Direction of Traffic between the 15th and 21st of April is going to carry out a campaign of speed control especially in urban roads and conventional roads to reduce the number of accidents.
