The challenge of immortalizing the historic photos of the most popular tourist guide in Chile

Santiago de Chile, Oct 5 (EFE).- More than 23,000 unpublished photographs of a family trip to southern Chile in the early 1980s by the Sánchez Mena family, creators of the South American country's first authored tourist guide, are in danger of deteriorating or being lost while awaiting funds to ensure their preservation.
