US celebrates extradition to Panama of Hezbollah suspect in 1994 plane bombing

Panama City, Apr. 20 (EFE).- The US Embassy celebrated on Monday the extradition to Panama from Venezuela of an alleged terrorist linked to Hezbollah suspected of blowing up a Panamanian commercial airliner in July 1994, killing 21 people, the vast majority of whom were Jewish, leaving open the possibility of bringing him to justice in the United States.
