Celac fails to reach consensus on Israel's offensive in Gaza

Kingstown, Mar 1 (EFE).- The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) failed to reach a unanimous declaration on the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip on Friday.

A total of 24 countries, of Celac’s 33, signed a statement supporting the United Nations resolution for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the cases presented before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to determine whether Israel's actions violate international law and constitute genocide.
