Barcelona, Apr 17 (EFE) - Catalonia is set to celebrate Sant Jordi, also known as "Book's Day". This year is expected that some 7 million roses -the traditional gift during this festivity- will be bought, 20% more than last year and the highest figure since the pandemic. Some 63% of the roses come from Colombia, another 20% from Holland and 15% from Ecuador, although this country has reduced its production of red roses due to weather conditions and, as a result, prices are higher this year.
