Barcelona, Spain, May 13 (EFE).- Casa Batlló in Barcelona, one of architect Antoni Gaudí’s most iconic works and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, has opened its third floor to the public. The floor houses the last residence to have been inhabited that still retains its original design, and will serve as a space for exclusive private gatherings.Unlike the other floors, the third floor—inhabited for over a century by direct descendants of the Batlló family—is the only residence that has survived to this day with an exceptional degree of authenticity, preserving intact the essence of domestic life conceived by Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) in the early 20th century, according to the institution.FOOTAGE OF CASA BATLLÓ IN BARCELONA, SPAIN.
