Lisbon (Portugal), Jun 26 (EFE) - Brazil's Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira de Oliveira, said Wednesday that his government cannot take away the "right" of Brazilians to know the country's energy potential, about the exploration project in the Equatorial Margin region.CAMERA: SUSANA SAMHANSOUNDBITES OF THE BRAZILIAN MINISTER OF MINES AND ENERGY, ALEXANDRE SILVEIRA DE OLIVEIRA.Translation: "I strongly believe that Brazil's right to know its potentialities will be given in a technically and environmentally correct way since we are discussing how important it is for the country, we are still in the search phase in the equatorial margin, there is no exploration".Translation 2: "As soon as we find out our potentialities and clarity not only regarding oil but also gas and Brazil's critical minerals, which are transition minerals, then we will discuss in a sovereign and rational way the need of where and how far we are going to use these energy sources".
