Translation:

1. “This is a key week in the process of renewing the justice system. The selection of the Attorney General is underway, currently in the evaluation stage of the different candidates. During this week, I will receive the list of six profiles proposed by the commission".

2. "To fulfill my role as President, I am committed to ensuring that the Public Prosecutor’s Office becomes a serious institution and stops being an instrument used improperly. We need an institution that delivers justice, not one that acts as a wall of impunity, that prosecutes criminals instead of protecting the corrupt".

3. "An institution that defends the interests of Guatemala, not those who seek to undermine society. Based on this, I will make my decision once I receive the final list of six candidates.”
