Beirut's Mediterranean coastline polluted by waste

Beirut (Lebanon), Jun 2 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Wael Hamzeh) A new report by the United Nations Environment Programme shows that we can reduce plastic pollution by 80 per cent by 2040 if we act now to reuse, recycle, reorient and diversify the use of plastics. The theme of World Environment Day 2023, which takes place on 5 June, is "solving plastic pollution".
