BEIJING, May 14 (EFE).— Xi Jinping and Donald Trump discussed conflicts in the Middle East, Ukraine and the Korean Peninsula during talks in Beijing on Thursday, broadening an agenda initially centred on trade tensions and Taiwan.
According to Chinese state media, the leaders exchanged views on regional and international issues during their meeting at the Great Hall of the People amid growing concerns over the conflict involving Iran and the security of the Strait of Hormuz.
The two presidents also agreed to support upcoming APEC and G20 summits scheduled later this year in Shenzhen and Miami. (Camera: ÁLVARO ALFARO).
