Hormuz, Apr 19 (EFE).- Iran on Sunday accused the European Union of using international law in an “instrumental” and “hypocritical” way after Brussels urged Tehran to keep the Strait of Hormuz open “unconditionally.”

“Europe’s chronic failure to comply with the norms of international law has turned its lectures on ‘international law’ into a clear display of hypocrisy,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said in a post on X.
