Tbilisi, Oct 26 (EFE).- Georgia’s President Salome Zourabichvili and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze voted early Saturday morning after polls opened for critical parliamentary elections set to chart the future of the Caucasian nation.

The election will indicate whether the pro-western former Soviet state will continue with its goal to join the European Union or will head down a more authoritarian path aligned with Russia.
