Sao Paulo, Oct 2 (EFE).- Brazil's wind energy sector warned on Wednesday that it expects losses of up to 1 billion reais (about 184 million dollars or 166 million euros) this year due to deficiencies in the transmission network, and called on the government to invest more.

Sao Paulo, Oct 2 (EFE).- The Pantanal, considered the largest wetland in the world, is suffering this year from the worst water shortage in 70 years, warned Jaime Verruck, Secretary of State for the Environment of Mato Grosso do Sul.
