Beijing, Nov 22 (EFE).- China said on Friday that it was willing to talk with the United States to "manage differences" in the economic and trade spheres in light of the arrival of Donald Trump to the presidency, who during his campaign said that he would impose taxes of up to 60 percent on goods from the Asian giant.

“History has shown that increasing tariffs on Chinese goods cannot solve the trade deficit of the country imposing them. Instead, it increases prices for products imported from China and other countries. This is because, ultimately, the burden of tariffs will be borne by consumers and end-users in the country imposing them, resulting in higher prices for consumers to pay, higher costs for users, and inflation driven by higher prices.”
