USA GOVERNMENT SAID THAT FTA DO NOT AFFECT SUGAR INDUSTRY

Portman, United States Trade Representative said that the FTA signed with Central America and Dominican Republic do not affect the sugar industry in the US in an attempt to surpass the US Congress Opposition, during a reception held by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce honouring the presidents that are in the US to promote the Free Trade Agreement with the US at Washington, DC, US, Tuesday 10 May 2005.
