Pengjia Islet (Taiwan), 09/04/2016.- Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou (with baton) shows the ëMap of the Applicable water areas in the fisheries agreement between Taiwan and Japaní during the unveiling of the Taiwan-Japan Cooperation Monument on the Pengjia Islet off Taiwan's northeast coast, 09 April 2016, on the eve of the third anniversary of the Taiwan-Japan fishery agreement. Ma, while stressing that the Diaoyu Islands - held by Japan - are Taiwan's territory, repeated his call that Taiwan and Japan should put aside territorial dispute and jointly develop natural resources in the East China Sea. The Diaoyu Islands are called Diaoyutai in China and Senkaku in Japan.
