SPAIN-FACE TRANSPLANT
BARCELONA, 26/07/2010.- A young man (C) who has just been discharged from hospital shows, toguether with his doctor, Joan Pere Barret (R) and his sister (L), the results of the face transplant he has undergone at the Valle d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, northeastern Spain, 26 July 2010. The pacient went under a 22 hour surgery that needed about 30 surgeons becoming the first total face transplant in the world. EFE/Marta Perez
