VALENCIA (SPAIN) 14/3/2011.- Some workers give the finishing touch to one of the more than 800 hundred 'ninot' sculptures during Fallas Festival, that runs until 19 March in Valencia, eastern Spain, on 14 March 2011. Ninot is the name given to the huge papier-mache, cardboard and wooden sculptures depicting politicians and other well-known public figures which, amidst a deafening display of fireworks, are put on bonfires and set alight during the last day of the event, by members of competing groups, or falleros, who will have spent the previous year creating and building them.
