SPAIN LITERATURE MIGUEL DE CERVANTES

Spanish anthropologist Almudena Garcia Cid speaks during a press conference held to confirm that the osseus remains found during a recent search in a tiny chapel in Madrid belong to the legendary Spanish writter Miguel de Cervantes, in Madrid, Spain, 17 March 2015. The president of the 'Cervantes Project: Search, Location and Osteologic Study of Miguel de Cervantes' Mortal Remains', Francisco Etxebarria, said during the conference that part of the bones inside a coffin buried in the Convent of the Barefoot Trinitarians match up 'with no disagreements' with the Don Quixote author. Cervantes was buried in April 1616 in the aforementioned convent, but the precise location of his grave was lost after the building was reconstructed in 1673. EFE/Sergio Barrenechea
