The State Russian Museum's first branch in Europe opened to public with the tempory exhibition entittled 'Russian Art of Diaghilev's Age' featuring some 69 artworks. The agreement for the creation of Malaga's centre Collection of State Russian Museum was signed between Malaga's City Council and the Museum in St. Petersburg on 25 May 2014 and has a 10-year validity, which can be extended for another 10 years, during which master pieces of celebrated artists like Kandinsky, Chagall, Malevitch or Tatlin will be shown.
