Panamanian authorities and Dutch experts with trained dogs start a search operative of the mortal remains of the two young Dutch women, Lissanne Froon y Kris Kremers, who disappeared in April 2014 in a forest area of the west of Panama, in Boquete, Panama, 13 January 2015. The expedition will cover remote areas of Talamanca mountain chain from Chiriqui province to Bocas del Toro, specifically on Alto Romero where was found remains that matched with the DNA of the missing girls.
