MELUN (FRANCE), 23/03/2010.- French President Nicolas Sarkozy chats with Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero (L), during the funeral of the French police officer Brigardier-chief Jean-Serge Nerin at the local police headquarters in Meulun, southwestern Paris, France, 23 March 2010. Nerin was killed on 16 March 2010 during an exchange of fire with suspected members of the armed separatist group ETA. The 52-year-old police officer was fatally wounded to the chest, the shot tearing through his bullet-proof vest, during a gunbattle that erupted after a routine police check near Dammarie-Les-Lys, south of Paris.
