SPAIN ARTS MACBA:Controversial work of Austrian artist Ines Doujak 'Not Dressed for Conquering' is on display during the inauguration of the exhibition 'The Beast and the Sovereign' at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) in Barcelona, northeastern Spain, 21 March 2015. The exhibition opened to the public three days after it was meant to after the museum's director Bartolomeu Mari decided to cancel it because of Doujak's sculpture depicting German Shepherd a Bolivarian feminist leader and King Juan Carlos I involved in a sexual act on a bed of SS helmets. Unanimous criticism in the sector led Mari to reconsider his decision, who placed his charge at the disposal of the MACBA consortium. The display finally runs from 21 to 30 August 2015.
