VUELO A LA ESPAÑOLA: MELILLA, SEPTIEMBRE 1924.- El teniente Agustín Hidalgo de Quintana (i) posa con otro compañero de armas junto a un avión de Havilland D-H4. El teniente Quintana recibió tres balazos mientras pilotaba su aparato en el combate del paso Kert, teniendo que aterrizar violentamente. Hidalgo de Quintana fue pionero del sistema de ataque rasante llamado "vuelo a la española", utilizado inicialmente para lanzar suministros. EFE/Lázaro/jgb.SPAIN RIF WAR.
