DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MIGRATION
Speaker of the NGO Dominicans X Right Ana Maria Belique speaks in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, 03 February 2015. Descendants from Haitians who haven´t legalize their status in the country dennounced they could fall in the category of 'stateless' after the last 01 February, when the period to embrace a special law for the naturalization expired. The NGO said the law could embrace aproximately 53,000 potential beneficiaries but due to the bureaucracy just 8,775 participated in the process. EFE/Orlando Barria
