CHINA ECONOMY INVESTORS PROTEST

Investors who bought the BOC's oil features products organized over social media and gathered to protest in front of the bank's main building in Guangzhou. About 30 demonstrators showed up. They said in a joint statement that the BOC had violated rules by closing trading at historic negative prices and claimed that oil-related financial products were actually illegal. A man at the protest said he had invested 100,000 yuan but now owed the BOC 300,000 yuan.
